THE SUBLTE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK: Best Quotes and Review
This book has been a great help to myself and along with a couple thousands of people who read it. In this blog post I’ll mention some quotes from the book that have been with me for a while and have helped me ever since I was done reading it in March2022. I’ll also give a short summary about what the book is about and how it may help anyone in life.
"It is a real life-changer. In a world that asks us to avoid negative emotions and put on a cheery face, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck delivers a real wake-up call. Manson's writing style is humorous, honest, and matter-of-fact. But he is also vulnerable and knows what it feels like to hit rock bottom"- independentaustralia.net
Review and summary.
If you are looking for a book that will help you in clarifying life and it’s meaning it’s definitely the book to go for. It literally touches all the areas in life that people worry about and show that there is really not much for people to worry about in the first place.
For example, mark mason mentions that for life to have a meaning there is definitely supposed to be a form of suffering in it. This makes absolute sense because for people to see and appreciate how far they have come and grown p, there are sopposed to be difficult situations that one is supposed to overcome.
He also mentioned that the reason why people care so much about things that don’t really matter is because they, in most cases will not be having a goal that they are mainly focusing on. In turn, people get hurt by small things that weren’t supposed to hurt them at all.
He also mentions that the more insecure a person is the more likely the person gives a f*ck about some useless things. He gives an example of a man that is insecure about his looks and blames him being single on how unattractive and short he is. This man would stop himself from socialising because of his insecurity. He blamed his looks for him being single when in fact he didn’t actually get the chance to showcase himself and find a girlfriend.
This book has literally showed me that 99% of the things that we stress about and give a f*ck about are just in our heads and they don’t really exist.
