HOW TO MAKE 2023 YOUR BEST YEAR YET 🎊

HOW TO MAKE 2023 YOUR BEST YEAR YET

First of all, Happy New Year to all and all.
As usual we all want to make new year's revolutions and try to improve ourselves in the areas that we really did not accomplish the previous year. The funny thing is no one really tells any of us how to actually improve ourselves and make the next year a year of positive growth and inspiration.
I've compiled a few things to try out so as to actually grow in all of our aspects in life from spiritual,   emotional and physical.

SELF REFLECTION

The best way to start this process is to actually sit down and look at the whole previous year and see every single thing that you have done correctly and wrongly. Congratulate yourself for the accomplishments and make a list of things to do so as to continue growing in that/those particular area(s). For the areas that you did not really do well, don't even feel bad for it. Another side thing, NEVER, EVER COMPARE YOUR ACCOMPLISJMENTS WITH THE ACCOMPLISHMEBTS OF THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU. We are all different and so because of this we grow at different rates. So for all of the things that you didn't really did nit do well in, I suggest that you make a list of the those things that you can improve. For example if you did not stick to your workout routine after 2 months, you could just space out the days in which you are supposed to workout so as to make it easier for you.
Don’t forget being gratefull for all of the things that happened the previous year. Gratitude goes a long way.

GOAL SETTING

I have heard that actually writing down your goals on paper and seeing them visually makes a huge difference in a sense that you'll be reminding yourself of the greater goal that you are trying to accomplish. Actually seeing the things that you want to achieve automatically makes a person want to go through all of the steps so as to achieve that goal.
A lot of people are afraid of actually listing their goals because they are afraid that hey might not even be able to accomplish them. Or they just simply do not have any confidence and faith in themselves. If so, I advise that you make "baby goals" which are smaller goals that build up to the bigger goal that you want to achieve. As you accomplish these baby goals, you gain more confidence and faith in yourself. It also makes you see all of your progress and be able to feel more confident in yourself.

VISION BOARD

This concept is somewhat the same thing with goal setting. Instead this involves images and making a wallpaper, picture or board of all of the things you want to accomplish through the use of images. If you want to travel a lot this year, you put in images of passports, airplanes and any other image that involves travelling.
To make a vision board you can either collect all of the images that inspire you and remind you of your goal and put you into place using an app or website such as Canva. If you want something more creative and hands on, you could just simply cut images out of a magazine or news paper that inspire you and remind you of your goal and paste them on a canvas.

CLEANING YOUR SPACE

Now this an obvious one that I'm pretty sure everyone knows.
It's good to start the year in a clean environment. Removing all of the past years junk and dirt sets an environment for new and fresh beginnings in your life. If it means finally decluttering your room and either donating or selling all of the clothes that you don't wear or fit anymore then let it be. It makes more room for new things such as clothes, etc.
This also involves cleaning up the junk in our gadgets since in this generation most of our lives is centred on your phones and other gadgets. Delete all of the junk and unimportant files. It clears up your device for more information, images, etc,  that you will collect throughout the year.

TAKE IT EASY.

So many people start the year out with a kick, that will eventually drain them after like 2-3 months. The aim isn't to just do things haphazardly, it's to maintain what you are doing and make it a habit and lifestyle. Unfortunately this doesn't just happen it takes a while for you to do it naturally. It is also best to make sure that you are not drainging yourself during this process of trying to improve. We all need to remember that we are all different so what I do might not correlate and do well with you. It is best to take it easy and start building up and developing. It's the same thing with weight lifting. You just don’t start of with the heaviest weight you'll hurt yourself badly. Instead we start of with the lightest and then increase the weight as we grow.

ASSOCIATES

We don't wanna hear this but the people that we hang around with also determine your success. If you hang around unmotivated, negative people who drain your energy, then you are most probably going to be unmotivated yourself and will become negative such as them. If you hang around people who actually inspire you, challenge you and make you want to be the best version of yourself then you are on the right track. They will help you when you feel like you cannot continue anymore. In fact, you will automatically try to improve because as humans we all want to be the alphas of the pack. If you have other alphas that challenge you, then imagine how much you are going to accomplish because you want to be the best and you want to prove yourself to your friends. "Show me your friends and I'll tell you your future". I've seen this saying a lot around social media and I totally agree with it.
